Biography: I aspire to become a neurologist as I find the ambiguity of the brain and the vastness that pertains to the field of neurology very enticing. I am currently a part of the health scholar program and the undergraduate palliative care program. Aside from my academic activities, I enjoy spontaneous outing, baking, reading, and hiking.
What Diversity Means to Me: Diversity is a word that carries so much meaning and can be interpreted from many different angles and perspectives. Diversity is, among the many things, a liberating characteristic that allows each of us to be our own individual with a unique set of characteristics, culture, personality, religion, and so much more. All the while, this individualism that stems from diversity, opens up a path of interaction and such a path enables us to diverge from the bitterness that ignorance and arrogance can impose. This in essence is the reason why diversity is such an integral part of society and gives us a beautiful reason to get to know one another.
