Ms. Chastain co-authors the HAES Health Sheets – weight-neutral healthcare practice guides for practitioners, patients, and advocates that are utilized internationally. She is a health writer for US News & World Report and editor of the anthology The Politics of Size, published by Praeger. In her free time she is a national dance champion, triathlete, and marathoner who holds the Guinness World Record for Heaviest Woman to Complete a Marathon.
